Principal Data Scientist
Location: Mettawa, IL OR Jersey City, NJ
Hybrid: 3-4 days on client site

Role Overview
- We are looking for a highly skilled individual passionate about helping our client’s customers tackle complex challenges and achieve sustained analytics transformation.
- This role will lead teams of Senior Managers and Engagement Managers in executing cutting-edge analytical solutions and capabilities for a variety of clients.
- The successful candidate will help institutionalize data-driven insights and recommendations to bring client strategies to life.
- This individual will also develop and maintain client relationships, coaching teams to foster mature engagements and transformative outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement strategies and roadmaps to build analytics capabilities for client organizations.
- Leverage both traditional and innovative data sources to solve complex business problems using advanced analytics techniques.
- Build and maintain client relationships as a trusted partner, providing thought leadership and strategic insights.
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Senior Managers, Engagement Managers, Senior Associates, and Associates across U.S. offices to ensure both team and client success.
- Collaborate with global delivery leaders to drive sustainable growth within client accounts, utilizing a global delivery model.
- Identify business development opportunities within existing client accounts and contribute to new client acquisitions.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and client-focused, with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, navigate ambiguity, and translate business gaps into actionable analytics solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree from a top-tier university with an outstanding academic record or a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience; advanced degrees or an MBA are highly preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in managing and scaling engagements in fast-paced environments across various industries or functions.
- Proven track record with reputable consulting firms or large Fortune 500 organizations.
- Strong networking and business development skills, particularly in building relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Experience managing and mentoring cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% as required.

- Specific industry experience related to analytics or AI.
- Technical or technology-specific expertise relevant to analytics solutions.
